From the mid-1970s to the mid-80s, I worked as a cruise ship musician, first with Chandris and CTC lines, sailing out of Australia and UK, then with Commodore Cruise lines and Paquet Cruises, sailing out of Florida, USA. In the course of this, I sometimes played solo "cocktail" piano, and sometimes played keyboards with bands for dance music or accompanying the cabaret shows.

This was followed by a period from the mid-80s through the 90s, working as a pianist/keyboardist in the tourist regions of Queensland, including residencies on a number of island resorts, such as Daydream Island and Hamilton Island.

I am now available to play piano for functions in the Canberra region where tasteful background music is required. In addition, working with flautist Rosemary Shepherd, we are able to offer a mixture of light classical pieces as well as popular melodies. See Duo Classico for more information.
